Itried to register VL Live in the intial 60 days but was not successful.  My vicar set up a username and password on my behalf but when I put these into the registration box the response is 'this username and password already allocated to another user'.  What do I do now?

I'm not fully clear from your message what has happened. Is this a team subscription? Or a separate copy of VL? Is your vicar also using VL?
