Michael Can you be a little more explicit - I'm not clear exactly what you describing. I also suggest checking you are fullly up to date through online update. Tim

| Hi, When I open the text for the readings from the lectionary I am presented by the text in a viewing window. To the left of this is an option list or panel that lists such things as details; text usage, etc. When I first open this window all is fine. The second time and thereafter the option panel ir list on the left side has gone, as has the options to close or cancell within the text window. I had this problem also when I first used the previous version of Visual Liturgy. I was sent a correction where I had to correct instructions via notepad in a section of program instructions. Does this help? I will try again to see if any upgrades available for downloading, however I had carried out that proceedure prior to finding this error. Michael

| Michael In that case the same fix will probably work again. First, check where VL stores its configuration files. In VL, choose Edit - Preferences and then the Paths tab. This shows the folder you need. Then close VL, open Notepad from the Start menu and navigate to the winsettings.xml file in that folder. Do a Find for the line which states <mAlwaysRecreateTextDetails>false</mAlwaysRecreateTextDetails> and change the setting to "true"... so: <mAlwaysRecreateTextDetails>true</mAlwaysRecreateTextDetails> Save the file and then re-open VL to check that it has worked.
