The Maundy Thursday service doesn't seem to allow me to save it as a service (as opposed to a template). I have specified a date and location but when I come to save after having done the service it doesn't let me
Any ideas
Andrew

| Andrew, you've probably opened the service template and started planning your service with "This is an undated service" ticked. That option is available just as you open the service and as you're offered the choice of selecting a date. Could that be right?

I have noticed that this problem affects all service templates in the "Times and Seasons" folder. Also, Andrew Sweeney's reply isn't quite accurate.
I am repeating here the reply I made to a similar question about the Christingle Service template:
I think that there needs to be a small program fix, so that if you untick the undated service box and select a date, the program will then allow you to save the dated service.
In the meantime, there is a way around this problem:
1. Create your Christingle Service (or other T&S service) from the template.
2. Untick the "Undated service" box and select the date that you want
3. Once the service has loaded, click on "service properties" (in the "service" drop down menu). Select "Options" and there you will find, under "General Options" a box labelled ""Undated Service", which will have a tick in it. Remove the tick and then click on "OK".
You will now be able to save your dated service.
Hope this helps!
