Requirements for Visual Liturgy Live
Visual Liturgy Live is a Windows desktop software application. Once you've installed it, from a CD or a download, it runs from the hard drive of your computer just like any other Windows application such as Microsoft Office or OpenOffice.
VL Live was developed and tested under Windows Vista, so we know it's Vista-compatible. We also support VL Live under Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 7. The minimum requirements for running VL Live are
• an IBM PC (or compatible) running Windows 2000, XP, or Vista with at least 128MB RAM and a 400MHz processor
• at least 100MB of free space on your hard disk drive
• a monitor that works at least 800x600 in SVGA mode
• a CD-ROM Drive
An internet connection is required to make use of the internet features of VL Live, particularly the on-line updates of content. It is possible to use VL Live without the internet, but not recommended. We try to keep downloads to a manageable size for those who are not on broadband.
We're sorry that VL Live is not compatible with Apple Macs and the Apple operating system. We hope that in the future we'll be able to develop an open version of Visual Liturgy, but for the time being our priorities are to develop and improve the liturgical content.
