Easter material in beta form

This page contains links to some resources for VL users to use at Easter. These are in "beta" form - that is, trial versions.

This is material that has come from our work developing service-templates for VL Live.  We're calling them beta because when we realised that our edtiors' work wasn't going to be ready in time, we stopped trying to make VL templates and spent time preparing these files which maintain all the Common Worship formatting, rubrics, and so on, but which don't make choices for you. All the alternatives are laid out in these files just as they are in the pages of Times and Seasons, so you'll have to do some copying, cutting and pasting.

We're disappointed that we couldn't give you fully-fledged VL templates in time for Easter 2009, but we hope these files will be useful to you. We'll work hard on getting at least this level of resource available to you with better timing for future major festivals, and we're still working on turning all these service into full VL service templates. 

The Easter Liturgy Pattern A is published in .doc format and in rich text format (.rtf); we've tested them in Microsoft Word 2003, and Open Office Writer 3.0. We published the .doc before the .rtf while we waited for a technical hitch with our website-management software to be resolved, but we'll publish the remaining material as rtf only, as that's compatible with the widest range of word-processors.
